YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR cuz you said "I can't afford to let the depression get to me" GOOD for you! I'm so proud of you.

Sorry I have a hard time watching your vlogs on the weekends. Have to play catch up on monday :-)

First of all, congratulations on kicking depression's ass, because you can't afford it. You are so right. It's debilitating. Also, congratulations on 2-weeks bulimia free! That is AWE-mazing and very inspiring!

Secondly, I really admire the fact that you're craving sugary fruits, and not the junk that masquerades as sustenance. To pick out a canteloupe that's ripe, you can do two things. One, tap the melon with your finger a few times. It should have a slightly hollow sound. Also, you can smell the end of it, where the vine was attached, and it will smell sweeter and delicious. :) I hope this helps.

I hope you keep feeling better. "I can't indulge the sadness." You are so right, and thank you for being so honest. You are amazing, and you can do anything you set your mind and heart to!

Wow, I totally get what you're saying about bulimia. You've inspired me--I keep saying I will stop, but I never do. But I think hearing someone else say how bad it is really makes it Because honestly, I can feel my body deteriorating every time I binge and purge.
Starting this second, no freaking more.
Also, I hear those same two exact voices. It's like someone's either rubbing my back and cleaning me up, or poking me in the stomach and telling me I'll never be good enough.
One more thing: I get the real hunger, too. Usually it's when I get home in the afternoon and haven't eaten all day. I always know when I'm emotionally hungry because I start making lists of food in my head, putting something in the microwave, the toaster, pouring cereal in bowls, etc... Bulimia's how I feel things. Real sadness/happiness/anger always surprise me, because usually I just drown them in food and purge them up.
Loving the vlogs, you really do look good, healthy. Keep it up. <3
